The Loughlin Boys Cup 5 A - Side Tournament

Venue: Galway Hibernians Pitch, Headford Road, Galway

Further Information:

5 a side tournament in aid of the Myotubular Trust in memory of Nathan, Sean and Alex Loughlin. The one day event will be held at Galway Hibernians pitch, followed by a presentation night in Crowes bar to include auction, raffle, dj and finger food.

The fee for taking part is 70 euro - anyone wishing to compete should contact Crowes bar.

London 10k

2010 marks the fifth year that supporters of the Myotubular Trust will be taking part in this ASICS charity run which attracts thousands of runners from around the world. In just four years, this event has raised an amazing £148,000 for the Myotubular Trust. Over 190 wonderful people have run on behalf of MTT, many having run more than once! The amount that has been raised equates to a quarter of the total amount the Trust has raised to date.

Kyle's Race

Time: 11.00 a.m., race begins at 12.00 p.m. End time: 2 - 3.00 p.m. after post-race picnic and raffle.

This 5k run / walk will take place at Vergennes High School to raise money to benefit Kyle Grant who is a student at the school who has myotubular myopathy and the Joshua Frase Foundation. Gifts and prizes from local businesses, raffle ticket included with registration fee and / or donation, free food for participants from local farms and restaurants, event organic cotton t-shirt included with registration fee and / or donation - $20.00 for individuals - $10.00 for students.

The event is being hosted by imsuperb.com who are donating 100% of profits from anyone who signs up for a membership with them using the promo code 'Kyle's Race'.

20 Mile Thames Walk

The Myotubular Trust are holding their third 20 mile Thames Towpath Walk on Saturday 8th May 2010. This is an event which can be enjoyed by all ages and is a great day out for all the family. In its first two years the walk has been a huge success and raised in excess of £50,000 for the Myotubular Trust.
